Home Support Association values the social inclusion and supports the participation of people with a disability in everyday life.

Home Support Association Inc. (HSA) has operated in the Rockhampton Community since 1993.

This service is funded by Disability Services to provide quality one on one support for people with a disability between the ages of 16 and 60 years who live in their own home.

Facilitating innovative approaches for people with a disability to increase their participation in the community.

HSA could assist you with:

  • Managing household tasks
  • Personal care
  • Accessing community events, leisure & recreation
  • Developing social skills & relationships
  • Attending appointments & shopping

Social Inclusion Program

HSA  offers adults with a disability the opportunity to discover their broader community and experience social interaction through community based activities. 

Opportunities include:

Community Training Network

Wandal Community Garden Day Service

Wandal Community Garden Day Service is an initiative of Home Support Association Inc. The funded day service is available to people with a disability between the ages of 18 and 65. On receipt of your application for Client Services, Home Support Association staff will contact you to arrange a confidential interview to better understand your needs.

Each application is considered on an individual basis.

In order to provide a high quality of service, people supported by HSA are encouraged to participate in the selection of their support workers.

Visit us to pick up an “Information and Application for Client Services” form.

Referrals are also accepted from other service providers.
